We are on a mission to dramatically grow our business and as a result, we are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative in our Des Plaines, IL office.
Job Summary Supports route drivers by acting as a liaison to all company resources.
Provides excellent customer service in response to inbound customer telephone and e-mail contacts.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Support multiple Route Drivers and their Area Managers on a daily basis.
Answer and document customer calls from assigned call queues and assist with customer requests for assistance.
Respond to customer emails as assigned on a daily basis.
Generate and prepare customer Sales Orders in accordance with schedule.
Input one-time sales items to sales orders as requested by route drivers accurately and on time to meet customer needs.
Process, balance and reconcile previous day's invoices and resulting action items for future deliveries.
Prepare pick lists for operations in accordance with sales order generation schedule.
Enter new business submissions from sales team in accordance with daily deadlines.
Perform light logistics on an as needed basis for urgent route driver changes.
Track and confirm earned commissions of Sales Team.
Use and understand various systems to execute daily tasks.
Work both remotely (at home) and in office as required by company.
Other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
