Job SummaryThis role focuses on IT/Digital capability and operating model with specific focus on global portfolio and enabling governance structures, frameworks and processes to enable the efficient and integrated operation of IT worldwide whilst supporting IT/Digital Strategy.
Responsible for curation of the IT Global Portfolio and associated reporting as well as IT investment approvals as well as unlocking opportunities to improve tooling and simplify existing processes, affording greater consistency across all PMO teams.
Creates, architects, embeds and manages governance, methodology and process across IT globally.
Directs and co-ordinates the work in the federated PMO organizations across the WBA IT functions ensuring consistency of execution and output.
This includes developing IT planning, portfolio & analysis strategies, plans, and operational guidelines, to support effective portfolio execution and deliver more accurate and timely data-powered insights that can inform IT leadership's decision-making.
Outcomes directed have a significant impact on the organization's short- and long-term results, specific customers and/or partners.

Job Responsibilities Owns the Global IT Portfolio and associated PMO activities managing and directing federated divisional and functional PMO teams as required Owns and operates the global IT investment and significant contract approval processes, works with Finance and Procurement and other stakeholders to ensure timely and controlled execution.
Owns IT all global governance and associated process both in creation and execution, instructs and co-ordinates federated PMO teams to ensure consistency and of output and operation.
Provide mentorship on business cases, identifying the business impact, probability of satisfying business needs, anticipated business benefits, and risks and consequences of failure Oversees the planning, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide IT portfolio and CIO directed programs, projects, process improvements and policy changes Oversees overall progress of the IT portfolio, with focus on budgets, key achievements, risks, dependencies and resources.
Manages issue escalations to unblock individual initiatives.
Identifies, troubleshoots, resolves, and escalates issues and risks to the next level and/or Business Owners, when necessary.
Defines, deploys and governs the IT planning and portfolio processes to create visibility to, and support, the delivery of IT portfolio efforts, including scope, progress, budget, risks, interdependencies and outcomes.
Working with GRC and internal audit establishes proper methodologies, controls and process in order to maintain the integrity and security of IT operations.
Ensures consistency in approach/implementation of project management framework/standards across WBA Shares highly complex information related to areas of expertise.
Interacts with senior management to keep abreast of objectives.
Transfers knowledge and collaborates across functional lines and/or across departments.
Interacts with direct reports and peers in management / customers / vendors to interpret information and improve cross-functional processes and programs.
Builds and enhances key internal and external contacts.
Creates and supports mechanisms for global reporting including but not limited to Status Reports, Charter, Schedules, and other key stakeholder presentations/communication.
Partners closely with Finance to manage the budget utilization and forecasting.
Ensues stakeholders are aware of budgetary compliance and/or incompliance and where issues/expenses have been escalated and/or decreased.
Champions and drives cross-divisional collaboration and communication between the global and federated IT teams.
Plans, develops and manages departmental expense and capital budgets.
Contributes to general business planning regarding IT to maximize functional efficiency Chairs key governance meetings as required with responsibility for setting agenda setting and activity execution.

Basic Qualifications A Bachelors degree and at least 10 years of experience performing Portfolio / Program / Project Management Experience managing budgets of at least 15 million dollars.
Experience leading project and portfolio management.
Experience with more than one IT project methodology and supporting management tools and processes.
Experience with resource allocation and budget management.
Preferred Agile Project Management as granted by recognized body OR Attainment of Agile Project Management Certification within one year of hire.
Demonstrated experience managing technology program leaders (Portfolio and Projects) At least 8 years of experience facilitating meetings, group discussion, whiteboard sessions, etc.
and leading discussions across the enterprise breaking down internal/external barriers Experience using business analytical skills including facilitating requirements sessions and documenting activity workflows and business requirements.
Experience leading teams and setting direction.
Experience implementing business process, protocols and best practices.
Experience managing a budget to plan.
At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect Experience with business delivery measurement/reporting and vendor management.

Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree or MBA Lean/Six Sigma Certification.
