CFO started as an Intern Mission-driven team
Essential Functions:
Manage month end close process and financial reporting package preparation, including balance sheet, statement of activities, cash flows and indirect cost allocations Oversee and coordinate the annual audit.
Report findings and audit adjustments to the Controller and CFO at weekly meetings during audit.
Identify and resolve accounting theory and financial statement issues.
Manage accounting staff and deliver reviews, hire and terminate, as appropriate.
Train staff on all aspects of Dynamics Great Plains usage throughout the state of Illinois.
Gather data and report on specific items when requested by management or audit.
Significant audit work paper management, preparation and guidance.
Analyze financial statements for errors and explain significant variances.
Manage key GL processes:
Balance Sheet reconciliations, new/closed networks, locations, programs, account set up, etc.
Performs other related tasks as needed.
Position
Qualifications:
Bachelor Accounting Degree required.
CPA preferred.
Experience supervising or managing a team.
Dynamics Great Plains experience a plus.
Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
