We are currently recruiting for a Packer to join our team! The Packer will play a crucial role in supporting our Finishing and Warehouse departments.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing type of environment however, we are willing to train! Hours:
Monday - Friday 10pm until 6a (+$2 shift differential)
Responsibilities:
Pull master rolls from Press Department and move to Finishing staging area to be used by Rewind operators Assemble boxes for use in packing finished goods Place rolls of finished product in cartons, tape & label cartons of finished goods Place completed cartons on skid or cart Label completed skids and takes to scale for weighing Convey finished skid to warehouse holding location to be placed into inventory Replenishes stock of raw materials at each Rewind station and in the Rewind Area using pallet jack Completes paperwork
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience One year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently is required to walk The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance Why work with us?
