VP of Global IT

This position will be responsible for driving the Martin Brower Global Information Technology Function to ensure it is managed with a high degree of efficiency to achieve and surpass outlined business goals and objectives. In this role the VP of IT will propose operating expense as well as program budgets as it relates to operating and enhancing the technology landscape at Martin-Brower.
People or Process Management Responsibility:
Responsible for global IT function and direct reports.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Manages the day to day operations of the information technology department including all local shared services and international locations. This will include managing 3rd party providers and matrix employees.
Assess and anticipate technology projects and recommend appropriate action and resources.
Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies and procedures for the information technology department in conjunction with the Reyes Holdings CIO.
Develops a profound understanding of service offering and operational practices with our customers.
Understands the business and the mission-critical technical and functional skills needed to perform in the role; whilst understanding the various types of business propositions and how the businesses operate in general.
Monitors the progress of all key IT projects, particularly those which specifically relate to/support the strategic business plan and IT Roadmap.
Represents the company as a member of industry associations and other committees.
Assures the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented to internal and external parties in a strong, positive and responsible manner.
Oversee the design and implementation of new applications, and changes to existing technology solutions.
Participate in vendor contract negotiations for all new technology solutions.
Act as an internal consultant to improve the effective use of technology for strategic business advantage or business efficiency.
Develop and execute against global IT roadmaps.
Establish and maintain IT Governance to align IT to the business, identify regulations and standards, and create policies and procedures.

Required Skills and
Proven senior-level IT professional, with 15+ years' experience in an IT-related role, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in IT leadership in a high change, complex, customer-driven organization.
BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline with an IT focus, or equivalent on-the-job experience
Experience in interacting at the very senior/Board levels of large organizations.
Strong financial and commercial acumen.
A strong communicator who can write and present effectively; able to adjust to fit the audience
Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build relationships with various stakeholders within the global Martin Brower organization and with our customers.
Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a matrix, cross-functional, cross-cultural, team environment.
Ability to travel internationally.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Experience in an international matrix organization
CPG food distribution sector experience
Periodically, an employee in this position may be offered the opportunity to take a temporary assignment at another Martin Brower location, domestically or internationally. Temporary assignments are those that are between three (3) and twelve (12) months in duration. The terms of all temporary assignments are subject to applicable company policies and procedures.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
