JOB DESCRIPTION - STAFF ARCHITECT
WORKING IN THE FIELD OF GREEN WALL SYSTEM APPLICATIONS
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES
Thorough knowledge and understanding of commercial building construction with particular attention to design and construction of exterior structural walls, interior supporting walls, and roof structures.
Knowledge and understanding of load bearing capacity of such structures.
Preparation of architectural plans, construction drawings, written specifications, and shop drawings in CAD to detail green wall systems, including fabrication, anchoring and attachment of systems to the building structures.
Knowledge of commercial plumbing as it relates to supply lines and sanitary lines to 'tie in' connections for irrigation systems for green walls. Ability to calculate water pressure and water flow quantities for both direct building water supply and re-circulating irrigation systems.
Preparation of CAD drawings and shop drawings detailing plumbing associated with green wall systems.
Interface directly with clients, architects, structural engineers, and general contractors via telephone, conference call, WebEx, and in-person meetings to discuss details of green wall construction and provide project specific requirements.
Read and interpret construction documentation (plans and specifications) provided by clients and utilize that documentation in the preparation of estimates, quotes, and specifics of a particular job.
Presentation of specific Green Wall Systems to Architectural Firms and Clients, including AIA accredited lunch and learns.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for components, materials, freight, and labor associated with specific green wall system projects.
Review all estimates and quotations with Senior Project Manager prior to sending quotations to clients.
Deliver all quotations to client and provide follow up review and revisions as required.
Internally interface with the Project Manager, Purchasing Manager, Construction Manager, Job Foremen, Designers, Sales Associates, and Service Personnel to exchange and impart information and knowledge.
Provide the Purchasing Manager detailed job specific product information and quantities of materials for purchasing once a project is under contract.
Provide follow up on new project leads with via phone call or email to extract information from potential clients in order to educate and to use information to prepare accurate quotations.
Prepare and submit all project close-out documents including as-built drawings, warranty, and job specific Operating Manuals for each completed project.
Prepare and submit change orders as required during the implementation process.
Formulate, prepare and submit construction timelines and schedules per contract documents.
Select and coordinate subcontractors with Senior Project Manager.
When required, physically work at job sites to install green wall systems to support the Construction Manager and Job Foremen or replace their role in their absence or when jobs are overlapping in duration.
Out-of- Town travel to architectural appointments and presentations, project sites for pre-bid, post bid, pre-construction, and other meetings.
BS in Architecture from accredited university, or similar professional degree compatible with the required job responsibilities.
Minimum 2-3 years experience working full time as a Level I Architect

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
